In case of collision, this mechanism prevents damage to the cabinet. When the barrier arm gets hit by a vehicle, it pops out of it’s hinge. Without the breakaway accessory, the arm would stay in front of the vehicle after it gets hit, resulting in a broken hinge and most likely a damaged cabinet. This mechanism is available for barriers up to 4m.
Optional: a notification contact in case of release of the arm can be added.
